Lion’s Mane Hericium Erinaceaus is a miracle mushroom that has been cherished and used in traditional Chinese & Japanese medicine for centuries to support the brain and nervous system. When we began the search to find the best mushrooms available to create our tincture, we found the majority of lions mane products on the market are being made from imported mushrooms from China, where it absorbs toxic levels of heavy metals and toxins from its atmosphere. If it’s not imported its dried – and we wanted to provide the freshest organic extract possible. To combat this and to be able to provide the best extract possible we decided to grow them ourselves.
The Lion’s Mane tincture is made using a dual extraction to ensure the full range of bioactive compounds are included in the extract and to ensure its strength and potency. The medicinal compounds in mushrooms are not readily available for the body to absorb, thanks to the tough exterior known as chitin. Dual extraction means both alcohol and water are used to draw out all the goodies. Alcohol draws out the terpene / phenolic / hericenones and erinacines, while the hot water breaks down the chitin and pulls the polysaccharides. This process ensures a full bodied, powerful, ready to use extract.
DIRECTIONS: Take half or full dropper daily either under the tongue or diluted in water.
